This role supports operations and quality and will be responsible for reliably delivering the highest quality products, when our customers want them in line with the company's mission, vision and goals. Additionally, this role owns the development and implementation of the site productivity plan and introduction of new materials as well as implementing best practices from other sites. In this function you will also be responsible for executing capital investment projects and a broad scope of quality aspects.
- Assist operations and quality with technical troubleshooting support and facilitating efforts and defining solutions to prevent recurrence. - Defend and manage improvement and capital projects (safety, environment, sustainability, quality, productivity, cost, growth, capacity, ...). - Coordinate with other production sites and labs to ensure consistent practices, product results and product manufacturing transfers between sites (including MOCs). - Design, implement and monitor Quality Assurance systems. - Co-owner of site operations and quality metrics. - Control (raw) material acceptance criteria, including coordination with other parties for approvals, non-conformance and material trending. - Provide feedback to sourcing on vendor performance. - Maintain ISO certification service. - You have a master degree in engineering (chemical) or equivalent by experience. - Some years experience in quality in a chemical, manufacturing environment - You are a self-starter, love to take initiative and can get things done also thanks to your people, negotiating and organizational skills. You have a pro-active and problem solving approach. - You have excellent communication skills: Dutch and English are your working languages. - Good knowledge of SAP, MS Office, Instantis, SharePoint, SuccesFactors and Workday are an advantage.
