De Ceunynck Medical is the largest independent distributor in the field of Ophthalmology in Belux. The company is distributing a wide range of innovative medical equipment from leading manufacturers such as J&J, Topcon, Oculus, Lumenis, Tomey and several smaller manufacturers. The Ceunynck Medical is currently employing 20 people. Due to a growing install base of diagnostic and surgery equipment, we are looking for a motivated candidate to strengthen the service team as Field Service Engineer
*Your challenge * As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, calibrating and testing our professional High Tech Ophthalmologic equipment at customer sites in Belux and the office. Do you have a HBO background? You could be our future colleague
*Your responsibilities * • Installing new equipment according standards with respect to quality and installation time including testing, calibrating and integrating with the hospital IT infrastructure. • Maintaining medical equipment. • All work is to be carried out in accordance with De Ceunynck Medical and manufacturers safety instructions and procedures. Any issues or problems that may adversely affect De Ceunynck Medical, the product, its ongoing reliability or the safety of any personnel or patient, must be reported to the Service Director in a timely manner. • Troubleshoot technical issues to ensure equipment performance to our and manufacturers standards. • Be creative in problem solving to meet the customer requirements in an efficient, safe and qualitative way. • Demonstrate commitments to meet customer needs and requirements by ensuring all given quality standards. • Submit installation issues/improvement ideas to the operational team to support continuous improvement of the installation process • Submit timely and accurate expense claims, time sheets, progress reports and other paperwork.
• Bachelor in electronics with a good knowledge of IT (or equivalent through experience ). • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply if having the required skills and background. • Eagerness to deliver results and high levels of customer satisfaction, both internal and external. • 'Can do' mentality and pro-active with a positive, open attitude. • Good communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills, you know how to engage with customers in a professional environment. • Able to work independently and know how to team up with colleagues when needed. • Must hold a valid driver’s license. • Fluent in Dutch, French and English!
